We stayed at Hostel Ginkakuji for our Sakura Season trip in Kyoto. The staff were welcoming and helped us when we got lost. The Japanese style rooms were cozy and the shared bathrooms were clean. The location was near Ginkakuji temple and convenient with bus stops and a grocery store close by. The neighborhood had amazing restaurants like the Udon shop, Ramen shop, and Okonomiyaki place right across the street. We felt at home and even got to know other guests during a dinner party arranged by the staff. Highly recommend!
Recommend this hotel.
